We’ve completed Beta 13 with a massive fundamental process and UX (User Experience) changes. It brings the first batch of new features after almost a year that we constantly worked towards getting the offline features of the app to reach a reliable state. In this post, I’m presenting some highlights of our journey throughout Beta 13. Finally, I’m concluding it with a brief personal update.

First of all, I have to admit that I’m sick of not being able to write about the entire story and constantly thinking about whether I should mention a part or exclude it from the blog updates, essentially holding it until after releasing the public beta.
I think there would be no points in the holistic approach we took after the pandemic to release general progress updates to people who are not beta testers. Now that I’m getting busier every day, It started accentuating itself. Therefore It’d be much better If I reduced the frequency of these public updates for a while and that’s exactly why I haven’t posted any updates recently.
Don’t get me wrong, we are constantly working on the app and the following private-beta release track is our testament. We simply think these general updates are luxurious overheads that we cannot afford yet.
Certainly, we’d let everybody know as soon as we released the first public beta.
Beta 13 Highlights
The app is getting better every day and we are very excited! We can’t wait to release the first public beta. Until then, I rather just mention the following highlights/key decisions we made during Beta 13:
- We designed and implemented a world-class syncing process and wizard __ the beneath architecture and the user interface __ to make syncing the app much easier and more delightful for the users.
- Since we no longer support the Android mobile operating system, we rolled out some cross-platform solutions and features. It means from now on, the limited versions of the core features of the app will be accessible to everyone.
- We no longer release our estimated development timeline publicly I’m referring to the Beta milestones. Our rationale is that it confuses a lot of readers as the versioning of the app is different than the phase we’re working on.
- Since we’re just a few months away (fingers crossed) from revealing the company and the app’s name, we may wait until then to release future general updates within a new system on the company’s website. After all, this used to be my personal blog 🙁
Personal Updates
So many exciting events have happened during the last few months in my life that I’m grateful for, out of which, I’d like to share this one with you:
Bought an Apartment
I managed to buy an apartment in the complex that I moved in last year, and now I own this beautiful piece of residential property.
Nobody knows about the future, especially because of the company and the project, there is a good chance I won’t stay here for long. Still, It feels right, awesome, and is such a great relief to know that you have somewhere to stay if things go wrong.
Alright, that’s about it.
Stay Safe,
Cheers!
