We focused on one of the major sections of the Android App during Beta 8. We have released a total of 8 updates! We’ve added many essential features and debugged them as much as we could with the small number of internal testers we had + some close friends we invited.
The result is very satisfying, and the android app, merely judging based on the major section we worked on in the Beta 8, is almost production-ready (Certainly, it should and will be thoroughly privately and then publicly beta-tested later).
Current Platform State
Our platform, at its version 1 will have 6 primary sections, some more complex than others and some simpler, but all are essential to provide users a meaningful experience. All 6 have been completely developed and adapted by the iOS and Android Apps. However, only end-user testings would reveal semantic and pragmatic bugs. That’s why we bother with internal, private, and public beta testing.
As I mentioned in my previous posts, the current state of the world doesn’t truly let us start the testing of all 6 sections in real-world scenarios. Still, we are optimistic and hopeful that the situation in early 2021 would let us begin the public Beta test.
This is our most updated estimated timeline, and of course, is subjected to many changes as we move ahead.
Beta 9
We are going to move our center of attention to the iOS app in the next phase, Beta 9, to make it catch up with the Android App
Apple is going to release the final iOS 14 most probably in early October, so we probably are going to address possible incompatibilities or/and adapt enhancements that will come with the new iOS version.
Finally,
I would like to end this post by saying that I’m extremely grateful that I wake up every day and work with love on what I love to do. I’m also grateful to be surrounded by such great team members and supportive friends, and family members.
To name a few:
My sister Dr. Elham Hadadian, her husband Dr. Amirhossein Haghir, and as always my buddy Dr. Arash Jalali; They helped me on several occasions during Beta 8 by providing me candid medical advice and support. Elham and Arash also got back to me many times during the last couple of phases with some good suggestions and bug reports, as some of the early private testers of the platform.
Till next update, stay safe!
Cheers!
